ABOUT THE ARTISTS

In celebration of Monet in Normandy, the string quartet Quatuor Stanislas from Nancy, France performs the music of Ravel and Brahms in a program titled Across the Atlantic: A French-American Connection.

Quatuor Stanislas, formed in 1984, is comprised of the principal players of symphonies in the Lorraine region of France. John Fadial and Beth Vandeborgh of UNCG have had an 11-year long connection with this group and their appearance here will supplement several weeks of activities in Greensboro.
